Winifred T. Naughton, 85 of The Bronx and previously of Pleasant Valley, passed away on September 19, 2025 in Bronxville, NY.  She was born on September 26, 1939, in Lack, Co. Mayo, Ireland and immigrated to NY on November 13, 1956.  She worked as a secretary for a large insurance company before marrying the love of her life, Christopher J. Naughton on July 8, 1967.  They shared many happy years together in Pleasant Valley, NY before his passing on November 10, 2016.
Winifred's brother Martin Devaney resides in Mayo, Ireland and she is predeceased by her siblings, Mary Anne Mannion, NJ, Bridget Gorman, NY, Margaret McDonald, John Devaney and Juila Reilly, Mayo, Ireland. Winifred was beloved by her 21 nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, September 24 at 10 am from St. Stanislaus Church, 1590 Main St., Pleasant Valley. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
