William L. Still, 96, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024 at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was born on October 16, 1927 to Arletta and Vedder Still.  He was the last of their seven children.
In 1953, he married the love of his life, Vincenzina Paolucci and were together for 54 years until her death on May 20, 2007.
William was an Engineer at IBM for over 40 years where he made many lifelong friendships. After he retired, his need to keep busy brought him to Innisfree Gardens where he worked for almost another 20 years.  He loved being with "the guys" in the beautiful, peaceful surroundings.
He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and served on several government boards in the Village of Millbrook over the many years of living in this beautiful place.
He is survived by his three daughters – Michele (Perry), Leslie (John) and Maria (James). Seven grandchildren – Sarah (Marcus), Christopher (Adriana), Olivia (Matthew), Arletta (Zachary), Emily (Henry), Lauren (Mark) and Amanda (Andrew). And  5 great grandchildren – Sophia, Evie, Max, Margaret, and Genevieve as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the 7th floor South staff at Vassar Hospital, especially Dr. Shah. Hudson Valley Hospice, especially Maria Robertson and Ronjay Johnson and The Pines Nursing Home, 5th floor nurses and aides, Allison Gilmore and Melinda.
There were no calling hours. A private mass of Christian burial was held at St. Joseph's Church, Millbrook, NY at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements were overseen by Allen Funeral Home, Millbrook.
