William H. Novak, Sr. "Bill" born in Astoria, NY on September 7, 1930. Only child to Charles Novak and Barabra Flannigan. Married to the love of his life and his "greatest sparring partner", Teddy Darrow on December 23, 1951 at Saint Denis Church in Hopewell Junction, NY. Bill found himself serving "reluctantly in the Marine Corp." and latter settled in Hopewell Junction. Bill established and operated many sucessful businesses in the housing industry. He developed some of the premier housing communities in Southern Dutchess County including Covered Bridge, Winding Oaks, Brandy Lane, Dogwood, Strawberry Hill and Judith Drive. He was a generous supporter of many causes, especially the Navy Seals, Segways for Vets, several Humane Societies and the East Fishkill Community.

He is survied by his wife Teddy, his sons and daughters-in-laws, Bill and Cheri, Bob and Barabra, Tim and Gayle, six grandchildren and one great grandchild, Eli.

He was predeceased by his half sister, half-brother and many canines. Bill was a bigger than life personality, who will be missed and fondly remembered by all those who knew him well.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017, from 4 to 8 pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Homes, Inc., 900 Route 82, Hopewell Jct., NY 12533

Bill wanted a party so all are invited at 6 PM on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Tomas Tapas at 900 Route 376 in East Fishkill.
