William E. Hosier, "Wild Bill" 59, of Pleasant Valley, passed away
peacefully on January 4, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Hospital. He
was born on November 11, 1958 in Poughkeepsie to the late
Frederick and Shirley Hosier.

Bill was a talented musician, bass player for past local bands:
Freak Accident, Hammernox, and Drive TSC. Through his love of
and dedication to music, he was always an encouraging and
persistent leader in making others believe in themselves that they
too had what it took to become talented musicians. Landscaping,
blacktopping, construction, he did it all and was a perfectionist in
what he did. He enjoyed camping, fishing and most of
all his family.

Bill is survived by siblings: brother Edward Hosier & wife Donna,
sister Linda (Sue) and husband Sparky Ferris; son Jeremy and
wife Christal Cuomo; grandchildren, Chale, Ryver, Kemper and
Shado; niece, Erika and husband Jamie Rogers, and nieces and
nephew, Sarah, Phil and Jillian Rogers.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 4 to 7
PM at Allen Funeral Home, 1605 Main St., Pleasant Valley, NY
12569.

Services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018
from the funeral home followed by a procession to the
Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery for burial.


Bill loved kids and doing benefit concerts for the Make-A-Wish
Foundation and Hospice. He was always willing to help those
that needed assistance.

Memorial donations may be made to either foundation in Bill's
memory.
