Virginia S. Speziale, 77 of Fishkill NY, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, NY on February 12, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore Carvo and Virginia Pizzuto Carvo.
On February 6, 1960 she married Anthony L. Speziale Jr. at St. Mary's Church in Brooklyn. Mr. Speziale predeceased her in 1986.
Virginia was the devoted mother of Steven Speziale and his wife Alyce of Fishkill, Thomas Speziale and his wife Sandi of Ft. Edward, NY, Virginia Donaldson and her husband Richard of Fishkill, and John Speziale and his wife Suzanne of Fishkill. Virginia was a loving Grandmother to Michael and his wife Tanya, Travis and Alison Speziale, Anthony and Julianne Speziale, Nicholas Donaldson, and Talia and Brianna Mistretta. She was Great Grandmother of Noah Speziale, and loving sister of Joseph Carvo of Brooklyn and Margaret Speziale of Fishkill. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Grace Cote.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 1028 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10 am on Monday, March 21st at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 103 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
