Virginia "Ginny " Colucci, of the Town of Union Vale left us to rejoin our heavenly Father in Paradise on Wednesday, August 4 ^th , 2021. She was 70 years old. Ginny was born in the Bronx on January 9 ^th , 1951 and was the middle child of Thomas and Virginia Cahill. Ginny graduated from Mt. Vernon School of Nursing in 1972 and worked as a school nurse for the Arlington Central School District.
Ginny leaves behind her beloved husband of 49 years, Danny Colucci; two adoring children, Daniel and Elizabeth Colucci and Sebastian Michael, her beloved grandson; two adoring brothers, Tommy (wife Sarah) and Mike (wife Irene), many nieces and nephews and two brothers -in- law, Nicky and the late Bobby Colucci. She had a dear friend, Anna Cassidy, Godmother to her daughter Elizabeth as well as lifelong friend Kathie Liebertz, Godmother to Daniel.
Virginia was a daughter, nurse, wife, mother, sister, aunt, Godmother, friend, grandmother and loved by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, August 11 at 11 am from St. Joseph's Church, Millbrook. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Millbrook.
Memorial donations may be made in Ginny's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Allen Funeral Home, Millbrook.
