Victor Sanko a lifelong resident of Fishkill passed away peacefully on April 29, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.  He was 94.

Born on March 7, 1922 in Beacon to the late Victor and Beatrice Delaney Sanko.

Victor served his country in the OSS during World War II, after being honorably discharged he went to work for IBM as an Expeditor where he worked until he retired in 1985.

Victor graduated from New York University and was an avid reader of Non Fiction books having a collection of over 400 books.  He enjoyed traveling to various places and enjoying retirement.

He is survived by numerous friends in and around Fishkill.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Fishkill Rural Cemetery Mausoleum.
