Tom Sciarrotta passed away quietly at Montefiore hospital on February 10, 2024, with his brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew at his bedside. A lifelong resident of the Bronx, Tom was very involved with several organizations, dedicated to helping others work through addiction. He retired from the New York City Parks Department, and enjoyed biking, martial arts, and music. His nieces have fond memories of riding on his motorcycle; he was always way cooler than our parents.

Tom was predeceased by his mother Mary and father George, and his long-time partner Martha. Tom is survived by his sister Noel, brother George, sister-in-law Laura, nieces Maria, Nina, and Daniela, nephews Nick, Joey, Matt, and Graeme, and grand-nephews Elijah and Francis.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 2/17/2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 15 North Avenue, Millbrook NY 12545.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to any organization of your choice that helps treat addiction
