Theresa Germond, 77 of Verbank, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born in Poughkeepsie on November 17, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Germond, Sr. and Ida May Bennett.

Theresa is survived by her brother, Samuel Germond, Jr; her sisters, Della Germond and Florence Staley; nephews, Samuel Griffin and his daughter Emily S. Johnson and William Griffin Jr. and his wife Joanne.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Carrie Germond and Helen Griffin and nephew Robert Germond.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 2-4 pm at Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook.
