Terance Michael Haight, 30, passed away on October 22, 2018. He was born December 15, 1987 in Poughkeepsie, NY. The son of James and Patricia Haight. He attended Rhinebeck schools graduating from the University of Albany in 2012, Cum Laude with a BA in Philosophy and Journalism. He was currently enrolled at the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University pursuing a Juris Doctorate, while maintaining a Dean List average.

Terry enjoyed all sports; football, baseball and basketball. Playing high school football at Roosevelt, since Rhinebeck had no team. A member of the Taconic Junior League Baseball Champions in 2002, that went on to be the Eastern Big League Division Champions in Delaware, MD. Terry was a NY Mets and Dallas Cowboy fan.

Terry enjoyed reading the works of Christopher Hitchens and George Orwell his Authors of choice. His favorite TV shows are Rick and Mortie, the Peep Show a British Sitcom) and Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Terry is survived by his parents, James and Patricia of Hyde Park. His brothers, Ryan and Daniel. Sister in law, Nicole and new baby niece, Emily. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, George and Anna Mae Haight and maternal grandparents, Morgan and Mary Jin. His aunt Nancy, passed away in January of 2018. He is also survived by his uncle, David. His cousins, Casey, Taylor and Alyssa Jin, Andrea, Christopher and John Angelo. Including many cousins outside the New York area.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Parmele, Auchmoody & Schoonmaker Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10:30 AM from The Church of the Good Shepherd, 3 Mulberry St., Rhinebeck, NY 12571. Burial will follow in Rhinebeck Cemetery.
