Sylvia A. Donaldson, 64, a resident of Union Vale passed away peacefully on Mother's Day May 8, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center surrounded by her family who loved her.

Sylvia is now with her mom, dad and sister in heaven.

She was born on May 21, 1951 in Little Rock Arkansas to the late Henry and Virginia Anderson.

Sylvia was a phlebotomist at Vassar Hospital prior to working as a bookkeeper at the family business Duchess Restaurant Equipment Co., Inc. in Poughkeepsie.

If you asked her what her favorite hobby was or her greatest accomplishment in life, her answer was, "She loved being a mom and a gramma."  In addition to being the best mom and gramma, she amazed others with her unbelievable talent at needle point and crocheting.

On September 11, 1971 she married William H. Donaldson.  Bill survives at home with their beloved dogs Lulu, Marnie and Diva.

In Addition to her husband, Sylvia is survived by her loving children Keith H. Donaldson and his wife Karen of Salt Point, Scott W. Donaldson and his wife Tracey of Long Beach, NY and Erin Virginia Wynkoop and her husband Michael of Clinton Corners.  Cherished grand babies Jobi, Kaylee Grace, Olivia Anne, Colby and Wyatt.  3 Sisters Survive along with numerous nieces and nephews and cousins in Arkansas.

Sylvia was predeceased by her Sister Gail Markle who died in 1987.

Funeral Services were Private on Thursday May 12, 2016 under the direction of Parmele, Auchmoody & Schoonmaker Funeral Home.

As those of you who knew Sylvia ……….she wished to conclude her time here with us by saying..... "And That's All Folks!"
