Scott S. Mowry, 52, a resident of Oxford, CT passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born at Vassar Brothers Hospital on June 2,1968 to the late William Mowry and Gail Mowry and raised in Wappingers Falls, NY. He graduated John J. High School in 1986 and attended Oswego State University graduating in 1992 with a degree in Economics

On May 27, 1995 at St. Martin de Porres Church, Poughkeepsie, he married Kimberly Mowry. Mrs. Mowry survives at home.He was employed for 10 years for Household/HSBC and Beneficial Finance and held the position of Director of Default Services. He also worked 13 years for Clayton Holdings and held the position of Senior Vice President of Client Service Delivery. He had a celebrated career - passionate and dedicated to his profession.
Scott was a dedicated loving husband and father and a beloved brother and son. He adored his boys and was a loyal friend. Scott loved his family and his friends and was always the one bringing everyone together.  Scott had a great sense of humor and loved to share it with all who were around him. He was very active with his boys, involved in youth sports and the community in which he lived.

He touched many people's lives, always willing to help others in need not only his family but also his friends, neighbors and co-workers. Scott was an impactful leader inside the office and out; one who individuals looked to for guidance and mentorship.

Scott is survived by his wife, Kimberly and his two children, Trevor and Peyton; his mother Gail Mowry, sister Deanna Mowry and brother, Russell Mowry; his beautiful nieces Ayreanna Crawford, Chloe Mowry, Cora Kerin, and nephew Jared Kerin. He was predeceased by his father William Mowry and son Ryan Mowry

Due to Covid 19, a private family service will take place at Parmele, Auchmoody & Schoonmaker Funeral Home and he will be laid to rest at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
