Sarah Mable Fredericks of Beacon passed away on November 10, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 82. Born on December 20, 1932 in Swissville, PA to the late Joseph and Ellen Baacke Bialko. Sarah married Francis Fredericks on April 18, 1953. Francis passed away on July 12, 2012. She worked as a bus monitor for the Wappingers Central School District for many years prior to her retirement. Sarah was known by many for her cheesecake and lasagna. Sarah is survived by her loving son Henry and his wife Susan Fredericks of Pleasant Valley, Cherished granddaughter Nicole and her husband John Halicki. Dear Sisters Dorothy Ryan and Beatrice Bialko. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters in-law, Patrick and Marianne Fredericks, and Joanne and Thomas DiCastro, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Sarah was predeceased by her husband Francis and her sisters Jessie Selkow and Ellen D'Amato. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Friday November 13, 2015 at 11am at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY. Memorial donations can be made to the Dutchess County SPCA.
