Ruth E. Murphy of Pleasant Valley, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2016 at Lutheran Care Center.  She was 88.

Born on December 24, 1927 in Hudson, New York the late Alfred Isaacson and Lillian Coons.

Ruth worked for a few years at Computer Tutors.

She enjoyed reading and being very independent.  She is survived by her daughter Gail Murphy, 2 Brothers Robert and Richard Isaacson and numerous nieces and nephews.  Ruth was predeceased by her husband Francis Murphy in 1985 , her brother Alfred Isaacson and her sister Doris Smith.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday July 15, 2016 at 12pm at St. Peter's Cemetery.  Interment will follow.
