On Sunday, October 17, 2021, Rose Marie DeSantis, passed away peacefully at 92 years of age.
Rose Marie was born in Millbrook on August 17, 1929 to Louis and Rose (née Galli) DeSantis.  She was a lifelong resident who graduated from Millbrook Memorial High School.
She was dedicated to her family and was a loving daughter, sister and aunt.  She was also a loving friend and throughout the course of her life she helped many of her extended family and friends.  Rose Marie was a former member of the Millbrook Golf Club and especially enjoyed Ladies Golf Night.  She was a devout Catholic and lifelong parishioner at St Joseph's Church in Millbrook.
Rose Marie was a courageous person who confronted more than 25 years of various cancers with grace.   She was a part of experimental cancer research trials at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Rose Marie was predeceased by her parents as well as four of her siblings and her in laws:  Madeline and Dominic Molella, Sister Mary Carmel (Assunta), Paul and Eva DeSantis, Louis and Nancy DeSantis Jr and Gildo Paganussi. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Paganussi of Millbrook and her many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 10:00 am at St Joseph's Church, Millbrook.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St Joseph's Church, Millbrook.
