Ronald Thomson of Wappinger passed away peacefully on November 13, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was 71. Born on November 27, 1943 in Yonkers, New York to the late Edson and Alice Fitzpatrick Thomson. Ronald was a dock builder for Local 1456 & 1556 for 50 years, he worked on building Tower One of World Trade Center. Ron was very active in St. Mary, Mother of The Church in Fishkill where he serviced as an Usher for many years and also at Sacred Heart Church in Yonkers. He volunteered his time at Vassar Brothers Medical Center and at Castle Point VA Hospital. Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Margaret Storms Thomson, 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild. 2 Sister In Laws, 2 brother in laws and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his close friends Diane and Sam Brier. He was predeceased by his children Dorothy and Michele Thomson, and his brother Father Richard Thomson. Friends may call on Monday November 16, 2015 from 204 & 6-8pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday November 17, 2015 at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of The Church, Fishkill. Cremation will be private.
