Robert Frank Prusakowski, 54 of Hopewell Junction, passed away after a long illness on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born in Yonkers,NY on May 19, 1962, he was the son of John Prusakowski and Pauline Monroe Prusakowski.

Rob served his country with the US Air Force from 1980-1982. He was an avid sportsman and loved spending time at home with his childhood sweetheart and wife Cynthia.

He leaves behind his wife Cynthia, his mother Pauline of Ocala,FL., his father John of Salem,WV, sister Nancy and her husband Doug of Mohawk,NY, brother Don and his wife Laura of Hyde Park, brother Dave and his wife Teri of Wappinger, sister Linda of Hudson, sister Rebecca and her husband Steven of VA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his older brother John.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 1 from 6-9 pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 900 Route 82, Hopewell Junction,NY. Interment with military honors will be held on Friday, December 2 at 11 am in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Robert's memory to Disabled American Veterans.
