Robert "Bob" D. Dreyer, Jr., 72, died on December 14, 2015 at home. Born in Newburgh, NY, he was the son of the late Robert D. Dreyer Sr. and Jane M. Pollack,  Bob was the companion of 30 years to the Mary Alice Cesa. Bob graduated from Poughkeepsie High School in 1961. He had a career in the US Air Force spanning 20 years, including tours in Germany, Greece, and several duty stations in the US. Bob had a passion for digital photography, chess, enjoyed shooting, history, audio books and heated discussions with anyone who was up for it.  Survived by a daughter and two stepdaughters.  Diana Lavoie, wife of Michael of Pace, FL, Rebecca Gallagher, wife of David of Ephrata, PA and Rachel Farzin, wife of Safa of Harrisburg, PA;  7 grandchildren:  Andrew Lavoie of Hampton, VA, Hayley Lavoie, of Pace, FL, Hanna Farzin, Leila Farzin and Quinn Farzin of Harrisburg, PA, Megan Gallagher of Seabrook, TX and Patrick Gallagher of Ephrata ,PA.; 1 great-granddaughter:  Emma Lavoie of Hampton, VA; 2 brothers:  Gary Dreyer of New Windsor, NY and Brian Dreyer of Austin, TX,. Friends will be received on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 4-6 PM at the Parmele -Auchmoody and Schoonmaker Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Please OMIT flowers.
