Robert J. DeSena, 91, of Millbrook for the last 53 years, passed away peacefully at The Grand at River Valley in Poughkeepsie, on Friday, August 30, 2024. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 16,1933 to the late Frank and Mafalda (D'agostino) DeSena. He was an honorable veteran of the Korean War. Where he served as the Payroll Master in the U.S. Army of Camp Polk, Louisianna and Fort Riley, Kansas. He graduated from the School for of Marketing in Chicago and attended the University of Long Island. He was a charter member of a Camp for Autistic and handicapped children. He worked for many years as Vice President in banking. Upon retirement he became a car salesman.
Robert leaves behind his beloved wife, Rosemarie DeSena,. They were married on August 22, 1953, spending 71 years happily together. His sons, Robert R. DeSena and Gary C. DeSena; and his beloved poodle, Jackson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 10AM from St. Joseph's Church in Millbrook.
