Rita M. Greco, 87 of Fishkill, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 17, 2016.

Rita was born on November 30, 1928 in Yonkers, to the late George and Edna Bladel. She married Frank M. Greco and spent years together raising their family. Together they traveled with their four children while Frank was serving in the Air Force. They then settled in Fishkill in 1966. Frank passed away in 1998. Rita's greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Rita is survived by her sisters; Theresa and Pauline, loving children; Frank and his spouse Rebecca Greco, Christine and her spouse Bohdan Darnobid, Col. Philip Greco and his spouse Althea Greco and Theodora Greco, grandchildren; Mathew Greco, Drs. Adam and Jessica Darnobid and Mark Darnobid and fiancé Cassie Rossetti, and great grandson; John William Darnobid. She was predeceased by her siblings; Irene, Geraldine, Jack, William and Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 2 to 6 PM at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Homes, Inc., 900 Route 82, Hopewell Jct., NY 12533. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated, 12 PM on Monday, at St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill, burial will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
