POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Richard C. Soules, a lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 30, 2025, with his sister Bert by his side.
Born in Poughkeepsie on March 20, 1940, Richard was the son of the late Carlton and Doris Soules.
Richard was a drywall contractor who worked for many local builders over the years. He always appreciated and enjoyed sporting a nice, pristine car. He enjoyed watching football and was a dedicated Kansas City Chiefs fan, as well as an avid New York Mets fan.
Richard is survived by his sister, Bert Morgan of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph Soules and Carlton Soules, and his sisters, Angela Soules, Joanne Soules, Beverly White, Doris Greco, and Patricia Park.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Cemetery, 171 Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
