Philip B. Peluso, 80, of Fishkill, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2017, at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx.

He was born on June 30, 1936 in Brooklyn, to the late Camillo and Jennie Fornaro Peluso.

Philip was an accountant for Union Carbide in Danbury, CT., for many years before his retirement. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1960.

On September 16, 1967, he married Elizabeth Mahoney. Elizabeth predeceased him on April 2, 2006.

He is survived by his daughter, Joanne Carbone of Fishkill; sons, Camillus Peluso and his wife, Kelly of Florida, Thomas Peluso and his wife, Laurie of Poughkeepsie and Philip Peluso, Jr. and his wife, Katie of Verbank; sister, Sister Catherine Peluso of Commack, NY; brother, Salvatore Peluso of Toms River, NJ; grandchildren, Libby Peluso, Ashley Coffrin, Alyson Coffrin, Thomas Peluso, Madison Peluso, Jennie Consalvo, Lizzie Carbone and Jackson Peluso; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 5 to 8 PM  at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Homes, Inc., 1028 Main St., Fishkill, NY 12524. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10 AM from St. Mary's Church in Fishkill. Burial will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Philip's memory to Hospice of Dutchess County.
