Peter Joseph Harmon, Jr. of LaGrange, New York passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025. Peter was born on July 19,1947 in Bronx, New York to Peter Harmon and Grace Fay Harmon. He graduated from Iona College in 1969 with a degree in accounting. Peter worked as an accountant and tax consultant up until his death.

He is survived by his brother, James Harmon and his wife Denise, his children, Shannon Rabar, Peter Harmon III, Colleen Link and her husband Daniel, and Patrick Harmon and his wife Sandi, and his beloved grandchildren, Sean Rabar, Alyssa Rabar, Hunter Link, Ryan Mohl, and Danny Mohl.

Peter, known to those close to him as "Sweets", cherished his time the most when spent with his family and friends. He was a bonus dad to many. Peter was an avid fan of the New York sports teams, especially the Giants, Mets, Rangers, and Knicks. He lovingly coached many youth sports, and cheered on his children and grandchildren as an ever-present spectator. Peter was never far from his Sudoku book or the next sports game.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 10th from 4-7pm at Allen Funeral Home: 1605 Main Street, Pleasant Valley, New York. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Stanislaus RC Church: 1590 Main Street, Pleasant Valley, New York on Friday, July 11th at 10am. A burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Millbrook, New York.
