A Patriarch has passed

Perley Heady, 60, departed THIS life March 18th 2017 at Vasser Brothers Hospital.  He was born December 8th in Beacon to the late Perley and Jacquelyn (Atkinson) Heady.

Best known as "Sonny" to his friends and family(or grouchy old man to his loving children), he was a loving father, son, and brother.  A caring companion and friend who loved to bust balls and instigate whenever a situation presented itself with no mercy on the elderly or young. Wise in his years, with a hysterical sense of humor, he will be dearly missed!

Sonny attended Dutchess community college and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY New Paltz.

Sonny is survived by his companion Eileen Sherwin, his five children and their spouses; Alicia Arrigo-Bates and Jada Bates, Robert and Stephanie Williams, Perley "PJ" and Nicole Heady, Ashley Heady, and Tori Heady, and his grandchildren; Alex,  Lily, Kylee, Perley Jackson, Aubrey, Hank, and Devyn.  Also surviving are his sister Sharon and her husband Charlie Shaffer, His brothers Shaun and Guy Heady, in addition to several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23rd 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm , at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral home 1028 Main st Fishkill, New York.  Where services will follow at 8:00pm
