On February 24, 2021, Patrick O'Connor was welcomed into heaven by his beloved infant son Patrick. Patrick battled his illness with courage and dignity and passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Patrick is survived by his loving wife Angela; his daughters Kathleen, Mary-Majella, Susan (& husband Albert Lobbato), and Deirdre (& husband Jaime Castillo); and his cherished granddaughters Ember and Luna.
Patrick was a much-loved brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend.

Patrick (Paddy) was born in Tarbert, County Kerry, Ireland. He loved the outdoors and spent much of his time working on the garden and enjoying the fresh air. He had a passion for carpentry, loved to discuss politics and history, and always kept the laughter going. Pat could fill a room with his energy and positivity, and we will sorely miss his jokes, his laugh, and most of all his smile.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 28 from 2 - 5 pm at  Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, March 1 at 10 am From St. Joseph's Church, North Ave., Millbrook. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Dyson Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
