Patrick Allen Cotton, 63, died on Friday, April 14, 2017 with his family by his side at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Pat was born October 3, 1953 in Patterson, NJ. He was predeceased by his parents Bernard and Mary Cotton. He attended John Jay High School. He worked in the oil fields in New Mexico and was a plumber on Long Island. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He always loved riding his Harley and going to bike rallies including Daytona and Sturgis. Mr. Cotton is survived by his five brothers and their spouses: Michael and Carol Cotton of Hyde Park, NY, Bernard and Patricia Cotton of Palenville, NY, Robert and Judith Cotton of Seymour TN, Timothy and Christine Cotton of Culpeper, VA and Kevin and Kristin Cotton of Poughkeepsie, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to acknowledge the professional and compassionate care given by both Vassar Brothers Medical Center and Hospice. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 pm, Tuesday, April 19th, at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main St., Fishkill, NY. Burial will be at 9 am, Wednesday, April 20th at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
