PATRICIA A. HOLT
Patricia Anne (Schroeder) Holt entered into eternal life on Wednesday June 3, 2020 Patricia passed away at home in Hyde Park, NY at the age of 85, following a long illness. Patricia was born on May 4, 1935 in Poughkeepsie, NY.
She was married on Sept 11, 1955 to Robert Vincent Holt in St. Stanislaus Church in Pleasant Valley, NY.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents Anne Bullis Schroeder and Willi John Schroeder Sr., her husband of 55 years Robert Vincent Holt , brother Willi Schroeder Jr. , Daughter Colleen Francis Goodwin, and son Kevin Robert Holt.
Patricia is survived by three grandsons Justin Michael Dalbo of NYC, Kevin Lawrence Holt (Mary) of Long Eddy, NY and David Vincent Holt (Kristen) of Fremont Center, NY. Great Grandchildren Mason L. Holt, Aiden R. Holt, Kayden W. Holt, Ethan M. Holt, Mackson A. Holt, Caleb A. Holt, and Austin T. Holt. Sister in law Loretta Schroeder of Florida, Nephew Willi John Schroeder III of Florida, Niece Emily Schroeder-Staggs of Florida, and great niece Sarah Staggs of Florida as well as other beloved friends and family.
Patricia lived most of her life in Pleasant Valley, NY until moving to Hyde Park, NY in 2002. She was a faithful 80 year member of St. Stanislaus Church in Pleasant Valley, NY. Her employment included NY Telephone, Estelle and Alfonso Dance Studio, Humbert V. Maggiacomo Attorney, and Arlington Insurance Agency.
Patricia enjoyed crocheting, bingo, country music, NASCAR, and occasional trips to the casino. She will be remembered for her spunky Irish personality, collections of Koala bears, and salt and pepper shaker sets, her smile and her many gifts of blankets, sweater sets, and doilies through the years.
A special thanks to Hudson Valley Hospice for their compassionate care during her illness. Burial and graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 6th at St. Peters Cemetery Salt Point Rd Poughkeepsie NY. Services will be held graveside due to Covid 19 restrictions and attendance is limited. Please speak with family to confirm attendance. Memorial donations may be made to Hudson Valley Hospice or St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Pleasant Valley NY.
