Patricia A. Fedigan, 74, a resident of Wappingers Falls and former cornerstone of Dutchess Park in Fishkill, died of complications from pneumonia on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Yonkers on August 7, 1941 to Edward and Anne Galinski, she was the oldest of 9 children. She was a well-known fixture at the Fishkill A&P. She loved her bowling leagues and triple W travel adventures with her best friends Jackie and Monica. More recently she "adopted" a new family – the Squares – with whom she enjoyed celebrating every and any special day that needed to be recognized. Her greatest love was spending time with her prides and joys, her 9 children and 9 grandchildren .
On November 18, 1961, she married the one and only love of her life, Christopher M. Fedigan who predeceased her on February 5, 1998. She is survived by her children, Janice Fedigan of Highland, Tara and Bob Miller of Poughquag, Jimmy and Allison Fedigan of Hopewell Jct., Chrissy and RJ Styles of Hyde Park, Marybeth Fedigan and Jeremy Marchant of Clinton Corners, Greg Fedigan of Cresskill, NJ, Sean and Brooke Fedigan of LaGrangeville, Erin Fedigan of Wappingers Falls and Kevin Fedigan of Queens, NY; her grandchildren Lauren Miller, Michael Fedigan, Molly Fedigan, Jessica Miller, Chris Fedigan, Hope Fedigan, Mac Fedigan, Caroline Fedigan and McKayla Marchant, all of whom will cherish her memory forever. She was the beloved Aunt to over 60 nieces and nephews.
Friends will call on Thursday January 14, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 15, 2016 at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of The Church, Fishkill. Interment will be follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
