Myron "Terry" Arthur Terhune III, 67 of Poughkeepsie passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Poughkeepsie on September 15, 1949, he was the son of Myron Terhune Jr. and Grace Tomlins Terhune.

Terry was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School, Class of 1967. On August 2, 1969 at United Methodist Church, Poughkeepsie, Terry married Rhea Parks. Mrs. Terhune survives at home. He was employed as a Master Carpenter, Mason and Engineer at Get Real Surfaces in Poughkeepsie. Terry enjoyed fishing, hot rods, gardening and working around his house.

He is survived by his 3 sons; Matthew Terhune of Poughkeepsie, Mark Terhune and his wife Briana Purdy of Gardiner,NY and Myron Terhune IV of LaGrange,NY; and his 2 grandchildren, Myles and Austin.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 10 from 5 - 7 pm at Parmele, Auchmoody & Schoonmaker Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave., Poughkeepsie. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 11 at 11 am from the funeral home. Interment will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
