Mladen Buneta, 82, of Fishkill passed away on October 5, 2015 at his son's home in Florham Park, NJ. Born on July 5, 1933 in Draganic, Croatia to the late Emil and Katarina Buneta, Mladen fled communist Yugoslavia, eventually emigrating to the United States in 1962 where he became an American citizen and met his late wife Sophia. They married on November 28, 1970 in North Tarrytown, NY and in 1977 they moved to Fishkill, NY where they raised their family. He worked 28 years for the Tensolite Corporation in Buchanan, NY supporting his family he leaves behind. Survived by his loving children Katherine Buneta of Poughkeepsie, NY and Andro and his wife Jennifer Buneta of Florham Park, NJ; their children Luka, Aidan and Mila Buneta; and dear brother Vladimir Buneta and his wife Vera of Croatia. He was predeceased by his wife Sophia Buneta in 2010 and 2 nephews Mladen and Emilio Buneta. Friends may call on Saturday October 10, 2015 from 8:30-9:30am at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main St, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am at St. Mary's, Mother of the Church, Fishkill.
