Millie DeProssino of Salt Point, NY passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022. She was 91. The daughter of Joseph and Rosaria Sparacio, she was born on December 2, 1930 in Manhattan, New York. Millie enjoyed gardening, traveling, cruising and most of all entertaining and spending time with her family. On September 17, 1950, Millie married Frank DeProssino who predeceased her in 2011. She was also predeceased her sister Beatrice LoFaso. Millie is survived by her sister, Concetta Loiacono, her children, Joseph DeProssino, Jacqueline Altavilla and Camille Nadel. Her son-in-law Irving Nadel and daughter-in-law Nelly DeProssino. Grandchildren Joseph & Stacey DeProssino, Camille & Jonathan Wazolek, Jessica DeProssino, Nicole & Dave Murtha, Gina & Frank DeMarco, Michael & Kelsey Altavilla, Matthew Altavilla and his fiance Jenny Kurtz. Great-grandchildren Brianna & Emma DeProssino, Jake Wazolek, Alexandria & Mackenzie Murtha.  Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 5 to 8 PM at Allen Funeral Home, 1605 Main St, Pleasant Valley, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 3PM at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church at 1590 Main St., Pleasant Valley, NY. A private cremation ceremony will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Millie's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
