Marie Sadie Palombo nee DelPriore, 91, passed away on October 15, 2023 at Lutheran Care Center. Marie was born September 17, 1932 to the late Carmela and Pasquale DelPriore. She married Carmine Palombo on November 18, 1951. Mr. Palombo predeceased her on June 17, 2016.
She was a graduate of Sleepy Hollow High School and retired from Kmart, Poughkeepsie NY. Predeceased by her husband, a son Joseph, 3 grandchildren, Anthony, Robert and Nicholas and daughter in law Jacqueline. Marie is survived by 3 sons; Carmine, Angelo and Robert; her daughter JoAnn, daughter in laws Judith and Joanne, and son in law Harry; grandchildren Vincent, Marco, Francesca, Sophia, Rachel; grandson in law Arnoldo; granddaughters in law Jill and Justine; two great grandchildren Malea Jordan and Julienne Love; and former daughter in law Joanne.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20 from 5-8 pm at Parmele, Auchmoody & Schoonmaker Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave., Poughkeepsie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, October 21 at 11 am from St. Stanislaus Church, 1590 Main St., Pleasant Valley.
