Margaret Speziale's Obituary
Margaret Speziale, 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 21. Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 21, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore Carvo and Virginia Pizzuto Carvo. On February 2, 1957 she married the love of her life, Albert Speziale, at St. Mary's Church in Brooklyn. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2007 and were married for 58 years. Mr. Speziale predeceased her in 2015. Margaret was the devoted mother of Anthony Speziale and his wife Angela of Wallkill, and Salvatore Speziale of Hopewell Junction, NY. Margaret was a devoted Grandmother to her beloved Grandchildren; Nicole, Vincent, Brandon, Brianna and Morgan Speziale, Alexis Mainster and her husband Kevin, and Great Grandchildren Malina and William Mainster. She was the loving sister of Joseph Carvo of Brooklyn. Margaret was predeceased by her sister-in-law Dee Carvo,sister Virginia Speziale and brother-in-law Anthony Speziale and her sister Grace Cote and brother-in-law Noel Cote. She is also survived by her brother- in- law Donald Speziale and his wife Betty, and brother - in - law Artie Speziale and his wife Cheryl. She was also a beloved aunt to many nieces, nephews, Godchildren, Great nieces and Great nephews.
Margaret was a loving, insightful, humorous and generous woman. She will be remembered for her kindness, laughter, guidance, cooking and story-telling.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00PM, Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 1028 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:00 AM on Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 103 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Margaret's memory to The Alzheimer's Association , 2 Little Jefferson Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
