Margaret L. Michaloski, 91 of Poughkeepsie passed away at her home on Saturday, June, 10, 2023

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on December 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Isabella Laing. On July 23, 1955 at Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church, Margaret married Joseph Michaloski. Mr. Michaloski predeceased her in 2018. She was employed by IBM, Poughkeepsie as a Key Punch Operator and was affectionately known as "Mother Margaret" by her coworkers.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Diane McNamara; her grandson James J. McNamara III and Lauren; her great grandson James J. McNamara IV, sister Nancy Middleton; nieces Lois Eckhardt and husband Tim; Linda Routhier; nephew Scot Middleton. Margaret was predeceased by son in law James J McNamara Jr. and 5 nephews.

Margaret loved spending time with friends and family. She enjoyed crocheting and nothing brought her more joy than presenting friends and family with the items she made.  They were truly gifts from the heart.

A graveside service, open to all who wish to attend, will be held on Friday, June 16, at 10 am from Freedom Plains Cemetery, Lagrangeville. Services have been entrusted to Parmele, Auchmoody & Schoonmaker Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice.
