Lynn Pontez Taylor, 57, of Copake, NY passed away on August 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness at Rhode Island Hospital, in Providence, RI. She was born in the Bronx on December 27, 1960 and was the daughter of Harold and Agnes Pontez. Mrs. Pontez survives at home in Millbrook.

Lynn was a graduate of Millbrook High School. On November 27, 2006 she married Thomas Taylor whom survives her at home. She was employed at George M. Taylor and Son, Inc. as an Executive Assistant for many years until her retirement in 2013.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Agnes; daughters, Kristin Jackson and her husband, Chris, Ashley Parsley and her husband, Adam and Taylor Handke; stepsons, Mark and his wife, Allison Taylor, Kevin and his wife, Sara Taylor, and Daniel and his wife, Jessica Taylor; 9 grandchildren; brother, Harold Pontez and his wife, Annie; sister, Cathy and her husband, Rob Stickles; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Maggie, along with many friends. Lynn was predeceased by her father, Harold Pontez and grandson, Jonah.

Visitation for Lynn will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM, at Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook, NY 12545. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 10 AM from St. Joseph's Church, 15 North Ave., Millbrook, NY 12545. Interment will be private.
