Louis C. Spagnola, Jr, lifelong Millbrook resident, died peacefully on December 10, 2023. Son of the late Mary and Louis Spagnola, Sr, he was born March 21, 1931. After attending school in Millbrook Louis enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp.  After his honorable discharge from the Marines, he started his plumbing career by working at Ben Woolheater Plumbing, followed by a career at Charles N. Still & Sons, before opening his own business, Spagnola's Plumbing and Heating in 1978. He was employed as the Town of Washington Constable for many years. Louis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyne, his son, Louis Spagnola, III, and wife Lora; his daughter, Christina Tellerday, and her husband Bob, grandchildren, Hailee Pezze, and Taylor Spagnola, sister in law, Veronica Lilley, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Spagnola, brother, Michael Spagnola, and sister, Grace Moore.

Louie enjoyed traveling to Vermont, going to car shows, and working on his antique cars; sometimes even building his own cars. He liked to take an occasional trip to Mohegan Sun and had a knack for choosing the oddest combination of lottery numbers and winning. He loved to cook and experiment with recipes and loved to visit with his friends and family who always stopped by to check on him. He never stopped working and was always happy to take on the challenge of troubleshooting for people. Many of his customers became his longtime friends.
