Louis P. Massarone (Lou), 95 of Naples, Florida passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on October 29, 2025. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend.

Born June 25, 1930 in Millbrook, New York, Lou was the son of the late Benedetto and Caroline (né Fiore) Massarone. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army who served in the Korean War receiving a Purple Heart for his service. He spent his 35-year career working for IBM in Poughkeepsie, New York.

A lifelong New York Yankees fan, Lou was a naturally gifted single-digit handicap golfer with a love for the game. He was an avid gardener with a remarkable gift for nurturing life, able to revive even the most neglected plants. Above all, Lou was devoted to his family and treasured every moment spent together.

Lou will be remembered by his family as a good listener who was loving and kind with quiet strength, integrity, and humility. He was preceded by his brothers Reverend Francis and Thomas Massarone, his sister Angie, and nephew Michael Jack. He is succeeded by his son Michael Massarone (Diane), and daughters Carol-Ann Fuss (Doug) and Patricia Ann Bartel. He was the proud grandfather of Amanda Skuza (Tom), Katelyn Foley (Brendan), Melissa Hardisty (Ross), Taylor Carlson (Peter), Charlotte and Colin Fuss (Leah) as well as great grandfather of Henry Skuza, Elias Skuza, and Ella Hardesty. He was also a beloved uncle to William and Charles Massarone and Matthew and Mark Jack.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on December 19, 2025 at St. Joseph's Church in Millbrook, New York. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Millbrook. Arrangements have been entrusted to Allen Funeral Home, Millbrook.
