Lorraine Morse, 90, of Chelsea, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on February 15, 1926 in Glenham, and was the daughter of the late Harry and Edith Van Tassell.

Lorraine worked many years for IBM in Accounts before her retirement in 1989.

On June 28, 1943, she married Guy Morse at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Beacon. Mr. Morse passed on April, 23, 2009.

Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Sharon Traver and her husband, Royal of Chelsea and Linda Mikula of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Laura and Glen Traver, Julianne Smith and Brian Mikula; four great grandchildren, Ashley Collins, Shaelyn Smith, Brayden Mikula and Kelsey Mikula; and brother in law Jason Morse. She was predeceased by her sister Shirley Green.

Graveside services will be held, 12:30 pm, on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Fishkill Rural Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
