Loretta J. Marshall, age 85, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2022. She was born June 17, 1937, in Pine Plains, NY to Cecil and Anna Dykeman. She married Frederick Marshall on May 2,1959. Loretta lived a life full of love and simple pleasures, watching birds, knitting often, watching her western movies, chatting with friends and family. Loretta always made room for a joke or two, and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her sons Douglas, and Tom Marshall, his wife Christene, her grandchildren, Crystal, Cory, Megan and Thomas Marshall as well as many nieces and nephews. Family, friends and others who would like to bid farewell to Loretta may attend her calling hours at Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook, NY on Friday, December 9 ^th from 5 – 8PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10 ^th at 10AM from the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Lithgow, NY. In lieu of the funeral we ask that no lilies be brought to the service due to allergies, but other flowers are welcome.
