Lis Kollmar died at the age of 89 in her home in Millbrook, New York, on August 16, 2026. She is survived by her three children Erichsen, Alex, and Birgit and her three grandchildren, Peter, Ilse, and George Erich. She was a beloved daughter to Hans and Gerda, a loyal sister to Hasse and Agnes, a loving aunt to Karen and Frederik, a devoted wife to Erich, and a loving mother and grandmother. She was a translator for the Danish Foreign Service, the manager of Jomsborg Productions, a CPA at Munns & Dobbins and a CFO at Mary Manning Walsh in NYC. It was a life well lived and full of many wonderful memories. She was much loved and will be truly missed. In honor of her memory, please make a donation to the Dutchess County SPCA at dcspca.org
