Linda Poleski, aged 76, passed away on October 29, 2024, in Gloversville, New York. Born on September 20, 1948, Linda dedicated her life to her family and community, touching the lives of many with her caring and compassionate nature. Linda graduated from Yonkers High School in 1966 and went on to pursue higher education at Lehman College, Marist College, and SUNY New Paltz. She built a respected career as a Financial Administrator at BOCES of Dutches County, where her diligence and professionalism were highly valued.
Linda was a loving wife to Vincent Ricciardelli, and an amazing mother to her sons, Brent (Michele Hetman) and Justin Poleski. She was a devoted grandmother to Keilyn and Tara Poleski. Linda will also be remembered as a loving sister to Susan Dunn, John Allan, and Joseph Allan. She had many loving nieces and nephews as well. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alma Allan, and brother, Richard Allan.
Her hobbies included reading novels and entertaining guests, activities that reflected her love for stories and her joy in bringing people together. Linda's warm presence will be dearly missed.

The family invites friends and loved ones to gather and honor Linda's life at Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook, NY on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 4 pm to 7 pm. A graveside service will be held at Upton Lake Friends Cemetery on November 4, 2024, at 11 am. A  procession will be forming to the cemetery from the funeral home at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda's memory can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice.
