Leo (Big Leo) T. La Prade, Jr. 67, a longtime resident of Poughkeepsie, NY and most recently of Hackettstown, NJ, left us way too soon on Tuesday, June 26, 2018.
Leo was born on May 20, 1951 to the late Leo T. La Prade, Sr and the late Despina (Dee) J. (Zervas) La Prade
For thirty-two years Leo was the President and CEO of La Prade Services, Inc in Poughkeepsie NY and a proud supporter of Alcoholics Anonymous.
He loved any opportunity to play guitar on stage & would play given even the slightest encouragement. Sitting-in with the NJ group "Zaire" always brought him tremendous happiness & delight. Many thanks to "Zaire" for allowing Leo so much happiness. Leo loved to play golf at many of the golf courses in New York and New Jersey for many years.
Leo is survived by his Loving Wife of nearly 15 years, Lynn Gibbons Teale La Prade; his brother, Christopher La Prade of La Grange, NY; his dear cousin Joanne (Zervas) Sattley of Boston, MA; loving god-daughter Madison Botsford; dear friend Sam Mensah of Hackettstown NJ; step-daughters Rachel Hartley Teale and Leonora Teale, both of England; step-grandchildren Eleanor Hartley, Eloise Ferrer Teale and Rafa Ferrer Teale all of England;

and his Three Sweet Golden Retrievers Blackie, Sammi Rose and Mister Blue.
