Lenora S. Hicks (Erikson), 83 passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, with family by her side. Lenora was a devout catholic with an independent spirit that would not wither and a mischievousness spark that kept you on your toes. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Born on December 20, 1941, Lenora lived in Millbrook, NY, most of her life. She married Raymond Hicks on April 2, 1961, at St. Joseph's Church in Millbrook. They spent their days caring for their furry friends Chiefy the parakeet, their dogs, King, Ringo, Bingo, Tye, and Tuffy the cat. Lenora worked closely with the nuns at Cardinal Hayes Home for Children caring for the children for about 5 years. She then spent her time as the caregiver to the late Mrs. James Cagney of Stanfordville until she passed, starting to volunteer her time to the community with the meals on wheels program.

Lenora is survived by her sister, Adelaide Jasmine of Millbrook, NY, Niece, Ellizabeth Phillips and her husband Geoff, and their furry child Miles whom Aunt Lenora lovingly sent treats his way to Ijamsville, Maryland, nephew, Ronald Jasmine of Millbrook and his children, Christopher Jasmine (Stephanie), Amber Jasmine (Randy) and Isabella Bourne (Jason) and a great, great niece Elizabeth, who brought a smile to Aunt Lenora's face every time she visited her. Lenora is also survived by her goddaughter, Allison Hults of Millbrook.

Lenora is pre-deceased by her mother and father, John and Alice Erikson, her husband Raymond Hicks, and brother-in-law, Louis Jasmine (Frenchie).The family is planning a spring graveside service. Details will be shared at that time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Allen Funeral Home, Millbrook.
