Obituary

Kim F. Ehler, a long-time resident of the Cardinal Hayes Home for Children in LaGrange and formerly Wappingers Falls, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, at the MidHudson Regional Hospital. Daughter of the Late Alfred (2022) and June T. Ehler (1989), she was born September 24, 1973, in Westchester County.

Survivors include her siblings, Kathleen Clements (Glen) of Ballston Lake, Carolyn M. Cade-Ehler of Eastchester, Kevin M. Ehler of Morrisville, NC, and Mark F. Ehler (Francine) of Fishkill; her nieces Kelly Bowie, Jamie M. Lamere, Renee C. Klenert, Melissa M. Cade and her nephew Christopher Cade; as well as her great nieces Scarlett and Taylor Cade. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother Sean F. Ehler.

Visitation will take place at the Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Avenue, Millbrook, NY 12545 on Wednesday, 3/18/2026 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM on Thursday, 3/19/2026 at St. Mary's Church, 11 Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Wappingers Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cardinal Hayes Home for Children, 60 St. Joseph Drive, Millbrook, NY 12545.

The Ehler family would like to extend our gratitude to the Cardinal Hayes Home staff for their dedication, kindness and superior care that was given to Kim during her time at the Cardinal Hayes Home. We will be forever grateful. Arrangements are under the direction of Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Avenue, Millbrook, NY.
