Kenneth J. Luby, age 61, of Pleasant Valley, New York, passed away on December 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with bladder cancer.

Kenneth was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Luby; his son, Mark Luby, and daughter-in-law Laura; his daughter, Danielle Luby, and her partner Cory; and his beloved grandchildren, Finnagan and Kennedy, who were the pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Anne S. Luby; his brother, Timothy Luby; and his sister, Sharon Abreau, and her husband Richard. Kenneth is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, John R. Luby.

Kenneth dedicated his life to serving his community with honor and leadership. He was a life member of the Ossining Fire Department and the Pleasant Valley Fire District, where he proudly served as Past President and Past Commissioner. He also served on the Town Fire Advisory Board, continuing his lifelong commitment to public safety. In addition, Kenneth was a proud life member of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club, where he formed lasting friendships and shared his passion for riding especially riding his trike with his soulmate

Kenneth will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his community, and the fire service. His leadership, generosity, and willingness to serve others left a lasting and meaningful impact on all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered
