Julia Mary Aceste, 93 of Millbrook and a former longtime resident of Douglaston, Queens died on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at her residence.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on April 25, 1922, she was the daughter of John and Mary Setera Rabowski.

Julia worked as a seamstress at Pauline's in Roslyn,NY. Julia is married to Vincent Aceste and they have been married for 73 years.

In addition to her husband Vincent, Julia is survived by her daughter Ann Marie Reichenbach and her husband Michael of New Hamburg,NY; her son, Vincent Aceste, Jr. and his wife Sharon of S. Salem,NY; her brother, Edward Rabowski and his wife Carolyn of West New York,NJ; her 3 grandchildren, Jessica Fillis and her husband Doug of NJ, Meredith Aceste and her fiancé Steven of Hoboken,NJ and Logan Aceste of S. Salem.NY; her 2 great grandchildren, Harper Rose and Emerson Brie Fillis of NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 17 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main St., Fishkill, NY.
