Judy Yarochowicz passed away on Friday, May 31st after a short illness at her home in Millbrook that she shared with her husband of 58 years, John. Judy was born in Torrington, CT on August 23, 1946 and graduated from New Milford High School in 1964. She was an administrative assistant for Dutchess County Social Services for over 30 years, earned her Associate's Degree from Dutchess Community College, was an avid golfer and fan of Dwight Yoakam. She enjoyed reading, feeding the birds and travelling with her husband John, who survives. As does her son, Chuck & his wife Erin of Broad Brook, CT; her mother Dorothy Barney of New Milford, CT; sister Irma Ernhout of New Preston, CT and numerous nieces and nephews. Judy was predeceased by her father Wilfred Barney, Sr., and her brother Wilfred Barney, Jr. both of New Milford.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5 from 5-8 pm at Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, June 6 at 10 am from St. Joseph's Church, North Ave., Millbrook. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, New Milford, Ct.
