Josephine (Sarli) Cavallo, age 75, of Millbrook, NY passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021. She was born August 20, 1946 in Queens, NY. Daughter of the late Vincent and Rose Sarli, Josephine grew up in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY and raised her children in Brooklyn and Queens.

Josephine was employed by the New York Police Department as a school crossing guard. Shortly after retirement in 2009, Josephine relocated to Millbrook, NY. Josephine enjoyed crocheting many things for family and friends. She has made blankets for each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She cherished her video chats with her family and friends.

Josephine is survived by three siblings, Maryann Basile, Angela Leuschner and Husband Ed,  Frank Sarli and wife Lenore. Her beloved seven daughters, Elizabeth Gales and husband Randy, Margaret Stallone and husband John, Patty Love and husband Jerry, Christine Fuller and husband Brian, Francine Hancock and husband Greg, Denise Danforth and husband Jamie and Mary Ellen Zizzo and husband Frank. She leaves behind countless cousins, nieces and nephews. Josephine loved and cherished each of her Grandchildren. 11 Grandchildren in total, William, Steven, Hannah, Jake, John, Collin, Haley, Kaitlyn, Grace, Ava, Vincent and two great-grandchildren, Landyn, and Cooper. Josephine was preceded in death by her sister, Rosemarie Constantino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's church, Millbrook, NY. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in St. Josephs Cemetery, Millbrook, NY. Josephine will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
