Josephine Agunzo of Fishkill passed away on August 2, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving husband. She was 93. Born on May 17, 1922 in Beacon, NY to the late Anthony and Rose Miccio Piacente. Josephine worked for Fishkill National Bank, the Hat factory and L& A Blacksmith as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of the St. Rocco Society in Beacon, the Catholic Daughters of America and the Senior Drop in Center. During World War II She met her future husband Joseph after a pen pal relationship while he was serving in the Marines. That relationship was the joining of there love that started in 1946 where the two of them dedicated there lives to there families. She Josephine is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years Joseph, loving children Judy Agunzo and her companion Greg Link of Kingston and Thomas Agunzo and his wife Laurie of New Windsor. Cherished grandchildren Rachel Stephens, Tommy Agunzo and his fiancé Jing Lu and Eric Agunzo and his wife Janelle. Loving great grand children Savina, Ariele and Lea. Josephine is also survived by her loving sister Mary Piacente and her brother Dominick Piacente. Friends may call on Tuesday August 4, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main St, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday August 5, 2015 at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church.
