Jonathan J. Meade, known to his friends as Jonny, passed away suddenly at the age of 29 on December 27 ^th , 2020.
Jonathan was born on July 1 ^st , 1991, at Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie. He graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School, and attended SUNY Oneonta. He lived in Wappingers Falls until the age of 27, when he moved out to Southern California. He returned to Wappingers several months before his passing.

Jonathan had a passion for sports, including mixed martial arts, biking, and mountain climbing. He composed and recorded his own music, and was an avid photographer.
He enjoyed a special bond with animals, as is apparent in many of his exceptional photographs.  His care extended to nursing strays, sick hamsters, and local injured birds back to health. Dogs would flock to him, recognizing a kind soul.

Jonathan had a gentle nature, as well as strong determination and power of concentration. While in high school, he became so proficient at Guitar Hero that he achieved a ranking among the highest in the world.  He was generous, resourceful, and quick witted.  On game nights, he would dissolve the family into laughter with a single perfectly timed quip.

Jonathan is survived by his parents Joan and Jim Meade, his sister Alison Meade, and her fiancé Chris Kollmar. He was laid to rest on January 2 ^nd , 2021, with immediate family present.
